Continue your journey to Qurum to explore the Royal Opera House, a masterpiece of Omani cultural elegance. Wander through this grand venue, where every detail reflects a blend of sophistication and artistry.
In Muttrah, enjoy a leisurely stroll along the scenic corniche, taking in the coastal beauty and charming old-town atmosphere. This peaceful walk leads you to the majestic Sultan's Palace and the historic Portuguese forts, Mirani and Jalali, offering fantastic photo opportunities and insights into Oman's rich history.
After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, head to the National Museum, Oman’s premier cultural institution. Established in 2013 and opened in 2016, this museum showcases the nation's heritage from its earliest human settlement two million years ago to the present day.
Proceed toward the vibrant Muttrah Souq, where over two centuries of history come to life. Discover a variety of artifacts, antiques, textiles, and jewelry, immersing yourself in the lively market atmosphere and uncovering unique treasures that tell the story of Oman’s rich heritage.
Head back to your hotel to conclude your day with dinner at the hotel.
Day 4:

Have breakfast in Wadi Dayqah, at 8:30am head to Tahery Cave, the drive from Wadi Dayqah to Tahery Cave is a scenic journey that takes about 1 and a half to 2 hours, depending on road conditions. Tahery Cave is located on the Salmah Plateau within the Eastern Hajar Mountains.
Along the way, you’ll pass through picturesque landscapes, making the drive as enjoyable as the destination itself. Tahery Cave is a hidden gem in Oman, known for its raw and unspoiled beauty. This limestone cave features stunning stalactites and stalagmites, intricate rock formations, and spacious chambers, making it a fascinating spot for nature lovers and adventurers. Its relatively unexplored nature adds a sense of mystery and exclusivity to the visit. The cave's name, “Tahery,” is tied to local folklore, which adds a cultural dimension to the experience.
Once at the cave, visitors can engage in various activities. Exploring the cave’s depths with a headlamp reveals its intricate formations and natural beauty, while amateur and professional photographers alike will appreciate the unique lighting and textures for breathtaking shots.
Have a packed lunch before exploring the cave area more then head to set up your camp, Spend the evening camping in the area nearby the cave for a truly unique experience, complete with a fire-cooked dinner under the stars. (No bathrooms or toilets available).
Day 6:

Wake up amidst the rolling golden dunes of Wahiba Sands, where the soft morning light creates a mesmerizing play of shadows on the vast desert landscape. Savor a hearty breakfast before traveling to Nizwa, a historic city surrounded by dramatic mountains and lush date palm plantations.
Visit the enchanting Wadi Bani Khalid. Drive past the village with its endless date plantations until you reach the magnificent wadi. The pools are cool, deep and absolutely stunning. Feel free to plunge in and experience the crystal-clear waters.
Stop for lunch at a local restaurant to enjoy authentic Omani cuisine before continue your way to Al Auqr Wall, take a leisurely walk along the ancient Al Aqur wall surrounding Al Shahba Fort, a proud symbol of Nizwa's heritage and a source of inspiration for generations to come.
Head to Nizwa where you will be checking into a 4-star hotel. Have dinner and spend the evening at leisure, exploring the charming streets or relaxing at your accommodation.
Day 8:

Enjoy breakfast then start your journey for the Balcony Walk. The Balcony Walk is one of Oman’s most iconic hikes, located in Wadi Ghul along the edge of the Jebel Shams plateau. Known as Oman’s "Grand Canyon," this trail offers breathtaking panoramic views of rugged cliffs, deep ravines, and dramatic landscapes. As you walk along the rim, you’ll witness ancient terraced farms clinging to the steep slopes, a testament to traditional Omani life. The hike also takes you to the abandoned village of Sab Bani Khamis, where the ruins of stone houses and falaj irrigation channels provide a fascinating glimpse into Oman’s history.
Though relatively easy and suitable for most fitness levels, the trail includes some narrow, rocky sections that require careful footing. Along the way, you might spot unique desert flora and even mountain goats navigating the steep terrain with ease. The combination of natural beauty, cultural history, and the peaceful mountain atmosphere makes the Balcony Walk a must-do experience for adventure seekers and nature lovers.
After the hike, a delicious lunch awaits, providing the perfect opportunity to relax and take in the incredible views before continuing your journey to Misfat al Abreen for a leisurely exploration. Later, head to Jebel Akhdar, where you’ll check into your hotel and unwind with a relaxing dinner at the hotel.
Day 10:

After breakfast at the hotel, around 7 – 7.30 am pick up at the hotel and head to the marina to embark on a shared speedboat adventure.
Touring and snorkeling the Daymaniyat Islands is one of the most surprising and must-do parts of a trip to Muscat, Oman. Nine small islands make up this snorkeling hotspot, with its brightly colored fish, sea turtles, and clear beautiful water. The islands are a natural preserve, uninhabited, completely natural, and protected by a marine reserve. They were designated as a nature reserve in 1993 to help conserve the turtles and fish as well as the coral reefs in the area.
In order to preserve and protect the islands, trips are limited by the government. During the months of May to October, tours are not allowed to land.
Explore vibrant coral reefs, colorful marine life, and graceful sea turtles in this protected marine reserve. Enjoy a picnic lunch onboard before returning to the marina at 1:30 PM.
Return to the marina around 1:30 PM for a drop back to your hotel, where you will have the rest of the day free to explore the city or relax.

After breakfast, begin your adventure with a pick-up at 8:30 am from Muscat, and embark on a scenic journey to Wadi Dayqah, located in Quriyat, just 75 km from Muscat. Home to the largest dam in the Arabian Peninsula, Dayqah Dam offers the perfect combination of natural beauty and exciting outdoor activities. Built in 2012 to collect rainwater from the surrounding peaks and manage water flow to nearby villages, this impressive dam has created a stunning 7 km freshwater lake and river that’s perfect for a day of fun on the water.
Arriving by 9 am, you’ll have plenty of time to dive into a variety of thrilling watersports and outdoor adventures:
Kayaking: Paddle across the clear, calm waters of the dam and explore the stunning scenery.
Donut Boat: Relax and enjoy the ride as you float in a fun donut-shaped boat.
Electric Boat: Glide effortlessly across the lake with an electric boat, perfect for leisurely exploration.
Paddle Boat: Get some exercise while taking in the tranquil surroundings from a pedal-powered boat.
Mountain Biking: For the land adventurers, take on the trails around Wadi Dayqah on a mountain bike.
Hiking: Explore the rocky terrain and scenic paths around the wadi, with views of the water and dam.
Between activities enjoy lunch at the restaurant in the Wadi, then unwind amidst the scenic beauty before heading to your camping area to set up the camp for an evening of barbecuing and relaxation. (Bathrooms & Toilets are available)
Day 5:

Enjoy breakfast and prepare for your next journey, Head to Wadi Shab, one of Oman’s most picturesque wadis, where you can hike through rocky paths, swim in turquoise pools, and discover hidden waterfalls.
Have lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Wahiba Sands, upon arrival at the entrance of the desert (also known as Sharqiya Sands) enjoy the stunning views of this natural wonder. The longitudinal dunes stretch 200 km long and 100 km wide until the Arabian Sea and have been home to the Bedouin for 7,000 years.
Experience a unique piece of driving through the iconic reddish and golden dunes until you reach the ideal camping spot.
As the sun sets, enjoy a magical evening under the stars with a delicious BBQ dinner by a bonfire. Spend the night in a cozy tent surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the dunes. (No bathrooms or toilets available).

The 3 Villages Walk in Jebel Akhdar is a captivating journey that showcases the natural beauty, cultural heritage, and traditional lifestyle of this stunning Omani mountain region Along the way, you’ll experience breathtaking views of terraced farms, ancient falaj irrigation systems, and traditional stone houses, offering a glimpse into the simple yet rich way of life of the local community.
