Husaak was successful in positioning Oman as the preferred adventure travel destination within the Gulf for GCC Nationals, this success has lead to further the launch of other tourism projects within the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

ACTIVATING ALULA
Husaak developed a full range of visitor experiences in cooperation with the Royal Commission of AlUla. Some of the activities included are: stargazing, a 14km cycle trail, a 4km Hidden Valley Hike, a 6km Adventure Trail and a UTV experience. Within 3 months the experiences in AlUla welcomed over 4000 adventurers.
Husaak designed the experience, marked the trails, acquired equipment, trained locals and operated the experiences. Our role in the project was as follows:

• Design Operational manuals for each experience

THE HUSAAK APPROACH
We work closely with our clients, listen to their needs and conduct thorough research of the area in question. This allows us to develop itineraries that maximize the visitor experience whilst being mindful of the environmental impact.
As with all our current operations in Oman, KSA and the UAE, we will apply our standard approach and methodology to operating the trails and experiences. This includes creating a detailed operations manuals, risk assessments, incident reports and evacuation plans.
HSE plays a key role within activation. The comprehensive operation manuals created include a set of procedures to cover all possible outcomes. Guides will train on the locations in advance and will have Wilderness First-Aid training and a first-aid kit with them at all times.
Our trips are designed to reintroduce the culture of exploration to the citizens of Arabia and therefore our team are predominantly from the Gulf. Husaak have developed an extensive training program that all our team members go through before joining. This includes a variety of certifications and a comprehensive apprenticeship and mentoring program. When it comes to new projects, Husaak will hire and train locals to ensure in-country value and benefiting the local area.
