his is one of the toughest and longest canyons in Oman. Umq Bir is located on the backside of Wadi Tiwi in the Eastern Hajar mountain range. This 9 KM journey through sharp cliff canyon walls involves lots of swimming, hiking, climbing and descending. The trip takes between 15 to 18 hours depending on the speed of the group. This extreme canyoning adventure is difficult level and only for those in excellent physical fitness. The water can be very cold so be prepared!
